CANDIDATE PROCESSBMRS partners with both our Client Companies and Candidates to assure mutual success. Our policy is to meet all candidates in person in our office, whenever possible, so we can truly get a clear understanding of what justifies a great next move in their respective careers. Our goal is to sincerely get to know each candidate so that we can fully understand what they are looking for in their career progression and then to present them with positions that might be applicable. Factors that are discussed and considered include: concept, title, job responsibilities, compensation, growth potential, commute and even quality of life. In pairing these requirements with our Client Companies’ needs, we hope to assist in finding a great fit for both parties.
We take the time with our Client Companies to understand the exact qualifications, skills and personality traits desired in a Candidate, as well as the complete details about each position. This thorough approach enables us to give Candidates as much information as possible for prospective positions we present. We also learn about a company’s culture, vision and goals in order to aide candidates in their own exploration through online and onsite research.
After meeting with BMRS, we share with Candidates any and all applicable opportunities, including the merits and details of each position. Candidates are encouraged to research each opportunity and to speak with our team with feedback and questions. We will never present a Candidate’s resume or name to any of our Client Companies without approval. Once a Candidate has all of the information about a position and is interested, we present their resume to our Client with their salary requirements and availability for meetings. We remain very involved in the hiring process; coordinating interviews, stages and in the case of chefs, setting up tastings in our confidential Test Kitchen. We also help to negotiate and finalize offers when requested. We are deeply involved throughout the process and are always reachable via phone and email. We feel that this intimate, hands on approach is essential.
One other integral component to the process is the extensive checking of references. Candidates will be asked to provide a list of professional references that can speak to their experience. The list will be reviewed during the initial meeting with BMRS and current employers will never be contacted without a Candidate’s consent and direction. We uphold the highest ethics in the industry and confidentiality is respected and maintained at all times. Ultimately, our goal is to help Candidates find a seamless fit where they are excited to progress and excel over the long run.
